Freedom of Species provides a voice and disucssion about animal rights, ethical veganism and collective liberation that is not found in mainstream media.

Over the past year, the Freedom of Species team welcomed Betty to the co-hosting team and we've covered a broad range of topics such as animals in the demilitarised zone in Korea, animal agriculture propaganda in the education sector, the live export campaign, prison abolition, Palestinian solidarity and veganism, vegan-washing, vegan food justice initiatives, animal-free science, dealing with the significant illness of a beloved companion animal, and more. 

This year, we’re celebrating everything 3CR stands for with our theme: Your Station, Your Voice. For 49 years, 3CR has been a dedicated, independent voice for the community—broadcasting the issues that matter, the struggles we share, and the victories we win together.

But we can’t do it without you.
